Universal 3D File Converter
Choose the source and target once, open the model, inspect it, and download a converted copy. All geometry work runs in this browser tab.
- 20 conversion directions
- STL · GLB · OBJ · FBX · 3MF

Choose a conversion
Files up to 50 MiB; scenes are bounded to 100 meshes and 2,000,000 triangles.
GLB can store hierarchy and materials, but this geometry-first conversion does not guarantee source rigs, animation or format-specific extensions.
All supported conversions
Choose any source and a different target. Every link opens the same converter with that pair selected.
How the 3D converter works
Choose both formats
Set the real source format and the format you need to download.
Open and inspect
The browser parses the model and shows dimensions, mesh count and format-loss warnings.
Download the conversion
Export the visible static geometry and verify scale and materials in the destination application.
One interface for every supported direction
The same converter handles STL, GLB, OBJ, FBX and 3MF. The links below open the exact workflow with the source and target already selected.
Conversion is geometry-first. A target cannot store data its specification does not support, so the tool reports likely losses instead of claiming a lossless result.
Limits and checks you still need
- The first release exports the visible static mesh; rigs, animation clips, cameras and lights are not guaranteed across formats.
- OBJ is handled as one geometry file, without separate MTL files or external textures.
- Large or unusually complex files can exceed browser memory even below the file-size limit.

Frequently asked questions
Which 3D conversions are supported?
STL, GLB, OBJ, FBX and 3MF can each be converted to any of the other four formats.
Does the model leave my device?
No model bytes are sent to AIPRINTGEN. Libraries load only when needed, then conversion uses the local File object.
Will textures and animation survive?
Not in every direction. The warning beside the result reflects the selected target; inspect the downloaded file in its destination app.
Why should I check the scale?
STL and OBJ do not declare a universal unit, while GLB, FBX and 3MF have different unit conventions.
